pumpkins, Lucy, and lots of snow:)

Daddy getting Lucy ready for Trunk or treat

Our cute little pumpkin

This has been a crazy week. We have been so busy I don't even remember everything that went on, but here is a recap of a few things.

Tuesday we had a Trunk or Treat at our church, while it was cold and rainy...getting ready for snow, it was sooo fun. There was a girl there who dressed up as the H1N1 virus..it was hilarious, very creative and relevant:) Lucy got to show off her pumpkin beauty while daddy held her wearing Fred Flinestone. I tried to get him to wear only the costume, and show off his legs, but he wouldn't go for it..I told him Fred would never have worn jeans:)

Then the snow came in. There was rumor of a storm coming in, but you never know in Colorado, but it was true this time, good thing Evan and I raked bags and bags of leaves before it came in. Evan even broke an icicle off the roof for me to snack on:) I love the snow!!! All the schools around us had a snow day today except for Evan's school district. It took until lunch time for them to cancel school, and yay, no school tomorrow either. We are supposed to have another foot or two come in by tomorrow night, so we shall see.

Evan couldn't get his car in the driveway

I went to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs on Saturday and couldn't sit through it. Every time I saw the plethora of food, which was most of the movie, it made me sick and I had to run to the bathroom, oh how I love morning sickness:) Anyway, just wanted to share our happy news!!! Laughing Lucy

So today Summer, Eve and Sophia came over for lunch and to play. Eve started making noises at Lucy and Lucy went wild with laughter. I didn't know she could laugh THAT much! It went on for a couple minutes. Eve would make a silly noise and Lucy would laugh and try to grab Eve, sometimes it would surprise her because Eve would wait the perfect amount of silent seconds and then make the noise again putting Lucy into a Laughing fit, making us all laugh so much:) Finally I said that I wished that I had a camera, Summer pulled out her cell phone and recorded a snippet. All 5 of us were laughing so much our cheeks hurt!

It snowed all day today, and is still snowing...welcome winter!

A bit of a catch up:)

In no particular order, some of the happenings in the Biddulph family...

Lucy is so cute with her toys. She examines them to great detail, especially using her tongue:)

We bbq'd with our new tenants downstairs. They are awesome, we are glad to have made new friends. They even offered to help find and dispose of the creepy snake in the back yard, but they think it died in the freeze we had just a little bit ago..I hope so! I don't know why I am so creeped out by that yucky snake!

We visited Amy and she helped fix my car base

Sang to us

And Jefrie and Lucy practiced sharing:)

Lucy found my bra

Evan researched where the Adam's Family pinball machine game was and we tracked it down on his day off:) He was sooo happy!

Found Santa Claus enjoying baseball as much as Evan does!

Evan thought I was cute...I needed water:)

Evan's dream came true! He got to sit on the Rockies Coors Field grass to watch the fireworks after a game.

Evan found this on his phone and liked it!

She is a sweat pea! She likes to eat, green beans, peas, carrots, squash, oatmeal, rice, pears and sweet potato puffs..we are trying to introduce new food, slowly. She also is trying out a new sippy cup and loves it!

Not Going Private

So I have over 100 requests and I am only allowed 100, and I didn't know that you couldn't log in if you didn't have a google account, and so it is too confusing for some people to log in. I decided that I am just going to be more descrete with what I post. Sorry for the run around and all of that fun stuff... my blog is open to read:) Happy Reading!

Hilary and Evan

So...

So, I have decided to go private for a while, maybe I will change it later since you can only have a 100 readers and that might not be enough for me... anyway, for now we are private:) If you hear of anyone who wants an invite, have them email me at hilary.biddulph@gmail.com and I will invite them:)

More than words can express!!!

She was doing this to me all day, anytime I showed her something or came in the room or talked to her. Evan came home from work to see this while I was playing with her. We couldn't stop laughing so Evan took a picture!! She is a character!

Busy Busy Busy

(Lucy chatting with Grandma Betty and Grandpa Romney.
They are serving a mission in Chile. TOO CUTE! She loves chatting with them every Monday and then takes her morning nap right after.)

So life is so busy for me right now. Lucy is growing so fast and learning to do so many new things. She is eating solids now and loves them...she prefers veggies to the fruit, I will have to take a picture of her trying to eat fruit. She does like liking apples when we eat them:) I want to start making her baby food so it is cheaper, we shall see, I need to look up a few more instructions before I start. I need to start her baby book, soon, I just can't find the baby book that I want to work with, a lot of books out there are too gaudy or cheesy. I finally packed up her little clothes, I can't believe how fast she is growing!! She sits by herself, eats solids, talks a LOT, coos, loves reading book and chewing on everything. She sleeps 11 1/2 hours a night, and is trying to cut down to 3 naps from 4. Lucy is getting to be a mommas girl, and everytime she sees me she reaches for me, makes me feel loved. She is getting used to tummy time, and when I cheer for her she likes it, otherwise it is not her thing. She grabs her feet while I feed her a bottle, and sometimes takes over holding the bottle. Her hair is growing so much, and I even put gel in it today:) She likes the cartoons, Dora and My Friends Tigger and Pooh. Loves peek-a-boo, and watching my feet. Loves cuddling me and Daddy. Goes to bed well, and lets us sleep in when we need to:)

We have had family and friends in and out and I can't remember the last time I had just to be by myself. My sister Tina lives 40 minutes away, and I don't think I have seen her for over a month or two...sad.

I have an ongoing list of things to get done on my white board. I update it every Sunday with new things, and I love crossing them off as they get done. If I am supposed to do something for you, I will, it is just taking me a while to get to some things.

I have recommitted to getting organized and staying on track. I am planning out my days hour by hour to make sure I am using my time wisely and prioritizing. (my mom would be proud of me, she always says to prioritize and schedule, even if it means just putting down a date and time for a bubble bath, and that it is ok to say no to people.) I am not able to do everything I want to do and go to everything I am invited to, but one day that may change. For now, Evan, Lucy and I are happy, and love spending time together. Family is very important to me.

Update on the house: It may take a lot LONGER than we had hoped for the house we bid on, so we are waiting and waiting and in the meantime looking at other houses in case there is a better opportunity for us. Pray for us please!!

I will catch up with more pictures, etc., later. Tomorrow is laundry day, bread day, and I will go check out a few more houses.

CHEERS!
